Not to be confused with the 2009 Limited Collection 1960 Stratocaster Relic.
FENDER SAYS
Inside and out, the ‘60 stratocaster guitar is a detailed recreation of its Kennedy-era ancestor. It features an alder body, ‘60s c-shaped maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The pickup design is faithful to the original, producing a characteristically smooth and glassy tone. We've even replicated the finish undercoating and the crude pickup wiring routing. the guitar comes in a nos finish - as if it had been discovered in a warehouse after many years during which it was never played, or our relic finish - showing years of natural wear and tear-nicks, scratches, worn finish and aged parts. looks, feels and plays like it has take the punishment of many long nightclub hours.
