Experience the magic of a vintage Stratocaster with the 1955 Stratocaster DLX Closet Classic from the Fender Custom Shop Time Machine series. This guitar authentically captures the look, feel and tone of a prized '55 Strat.
The 2-piece select ash body with Offset Seam wears the patina of a well-loved vintage instrument. The maple neck has a comfortable 11/56 Off Center "V" profile typical of a mid-'50s Strat, along with a nitrocellulose lacquer finish for smooth playability. The fingerboard is also maple for incredible resonance and sustain.
Equipped with a set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 single-coil Strat pickups, this guitar delivers the bell-like tone that defined the Strat sound. The reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup minimizes hum. A 5-way blade switch provides classic Strat pickup combinations, with master volume and two tone controls (for neck/middle and bridge pickups).
