FENDER SAID
Experience the authentic style and feel of a late-'60s Stratocaster with the 1969 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic from the Fender Custom Shop Time Machine series. This electric guitar features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish on a 2-piece select alder body for the vintage look and feel. The maple neck has a 1969 "U" profile and is topped with either a round-laminated maple or rosewood fingerboard (depending on finish) and 21 Vintage Upgrade (45085) frets.
Loaded with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '69 single-coil pickup in the neck position, a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity (RWRP) '69 single-coil in the middle position, and a hot Custom Shop Hand-Wound '69 single-coil in the bridge position, this Strat produces iconic bell-like tones. The 5-way blade pickup switching provides a wide range of classic Strat tones.
