FENDER SAID
Once upon a time, Walt Disney had a dream, to enchant the child in everyone with stories the touch the heart, spark the imagination, and dazzle the eye.
Throughout 75 years of love and laughter, that dream grew from Walt’s classic cartoon shorts to today’s feature films and beyond. As the dream continues to grow, one thing remains the same: the magic of Disney storytelling will always bring out the child in us all.
In celebration of the first 75 years of Disney magic, The Walt Disney Gallery has commissioned the Fender Musical Instruments to produce a limited edition of American Standard Stratocaster guitars. Each instrument features a chrome appliqué of Tinker Bell on the headstock; the body displays Mickey Mouse as he appears in the 1935 short "The Band Concert". The backplate of each guitar is engraved featuring Mickey Mouse and the Disney 75th Anniversary logo. All Guitars in this edition are finished in Fender's 3-Color Sunburst. This edition is strictly limited to no more than 75 pieces and each guitar is individually numbered on the neck plate. Each instrument is also assigned a Fender serial number, which appears on the rear if the headstock, and carries a lifetime warranty.
A Certificate of authenticity signed by John Page of the Fender Custom Shop and Senior Disney Character Artist Chris Schnable accompanies each guitar.
