A distinctively modern take on a legendary classic, the Lush Closet Classic Postmodern Strat delivers original-era Strat sound, with some modern player-oriented upgrades. The two-piece select alder body wears a Lush Closet Classic finish, simulating the look of a guitar that’s been cherished and aged like a fine wine.
The trio of hand-wound Dual-Mag Custom Shop Stratocaster pickups includes a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup to reduce hum—kicking out the rich, clear tone that made the Strat a legend when it first hit the stage in 1954. The Fat ‘50s wiring reduces treble loss when rolling the volume back while allowing the controls to react smoothly and evenly, without the typical “hot spots”.
Other premium features include a quartersawn AA flame maple neck with ’63 Strat “C”-shaped profile, 9.5”-12” compound-radius AAA rosewood or AA birdseye maple round-lam fingerboard, 21 6105 frets, RSD Stratocaster bridge, vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo and a bone nut. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
