Limited production run of 100 units.
Bill Carson Signature was inadvertently left off of headstock of the model MT100, the only left handed one; this model has a quite different neck plate, too.
Only 41 of the original 100 Carson Strats destined for Music Trader were shipped to Music Trader: 40 right handed models, serial numbers from MT000 to MT039, and one left handed (MT100). The others were sold by Fender.
51 Bill Carson Stratocaster, sold by Fender, came with slight different neck plate.
