COMMENTS
The guitar was part of an extremely limited edition of instruments produced exclusively for Fender's top 200 United States dealers who decided to order some of them at Fender's Dealer Event in 2013.
Few units have a deeply stamped badge in the wood on the back of the body bearing the “Prototype Corona” insignia (in lieu of the “Select” badge on the headstock found on the Fender Select production models). This means that the guitar was manufactured in late 2012 and it's not only a “Dealer Event” guitar, but the official prototype used to show off the new Select Series soon to be released in 2013.
