Both upper and lower horns strap buttons, so this strat is a righty guitar strung for lefty players (exactly like Hendrix's guitars).
163 were "Diamond Dealer", available to domestic Diamond Dealers only. The front of the headstock of the DD version had a solid Gold Custom Shop chevron logo, with an inset diamond in the center.
Don't confuse it with the Jimi Hendrix Montrey Stratocaster made in Mexico.
