FENDER SAYS
To celebrate the iconic '57 turning the big 50, we are rolling out this anniversary model in a popular early cosmetic White Blonde with Gold hardware. The 1957 Commemorative Strat includes a special neckplate, and will only be produced in 2007. Although the Strat officially debuted in 1954 (ash body, U-shaped neck), the year 1957 is important, as this is the year that the specs all came together (alder body, V-shape neck), making the guitar what we know and love today.
