FENDER SAYS
The Aerodyne strats have always been highly regarded as cool, streamlined strats that giving you the great tonal versatility of a strat but with a streamlined body shape that fits comfortably against your belly.
This model is an HSS 'super-strat' which is named due to the pickup configuration which gives you access to great rock tones on the bridge pickup and lovely clean sounds with the neck and middle position. Having the slightly shorter scale length of 24.75" also means you can use heavier strings as they'll be easier to bend and the slim c neck profile will really let your fingers fly on the fretboard.
The Rosewood fretboard provides a slightly darker sound than the Maple, making it great for distorted or overdriven sounds.
