COMMENTS
Formerly included in the 1990 price list, but "Final specification to be announced"
Replaced by Jeff Beck Stratocaster - Second Series
FENDER SAYS
In creating the Jeff Beck signature Stratocaster, Beck opted for a lot of the features found on a Strat Plus, like locking tuning keys, roller nut and American Standard bridge. There are four Lace Sensors: one each in the neck and middle positions; two together on the bridge. A push-button switch kicks in the second bridge unit, providing a "thicker sound", Beck explains. Lastly, a large neck closely resembles the early 50s Strats Jeff loved so much. The thicker, more rigid structure provides a warmer, richer sound and more sustain - trademarks of Jeff's unique style of playing.
