FENDER SAYS

Other features include three “Big Dipper” single-coil pickups with a special “scooped” mid-range voicing wound to John’s exacting specifications, an American vintage synchronized tremolo with five tremolo springs and without an installed back plate (included in case), Fender/Gotoh vintage-style tuning keys, a string tree placed slightly farther from the nut.
