A few early models had pickup covers with "Seymour Duncan" logo
The only difference between "export" Blackmore Stratocaster and "domestic" ST72-145RB was the body: basswood on export models, alder on domestic models
FENDER SAYS
Replicated from the instrument played during his Deep Purple career, this Stratocaster is now available with all Ritchie's personal custom touches: distinctive oversized vintage headstock, unique partially scalloped fretboard and no middle pickup (cover only!), Basswood [or alder for Japanese domestic market] body, two Seymour Duncan "Quarter Pound" pickups, '70s style tremolo.
