No serial number as they were not for sale, but demo units only. They were made specifically for contests, giveaways, autograph sessions, and NAMM. About a hundred of these guitars were actually given to some amp manufacturers at NAMM in 2006 or 2007. The guitars were either to be returned to Fender for disposal after the conventions or to be destroyed by the exhibitors. Apparently, a few of the exhibitors kept them and sold them off outside of Fender's request.
