FENDER SAYS
The 1956 Stratocaster is legendary. The neck design, and sound of that guitar helped shape the historical icon that it is today. For 2011, we have taken that 1956 model and supercharged it into an electrifying, hopped-up, twisted tone tool that will blast through any bandstand.
The neck’s flatter radius and taller frets allow smooth bending and lower action, and we are introducing a new set of pickups designed and handwound by Abigail Ybarra called “Abby Red Hots”.
The guitar sounds woody, deep, loud, and a bit more aggressive than its vintage counterpart.
