The Fender Custom Shop 30th Anniversary Screamadelica Stratocaster is what '90s dreams are made of. Masterbuilt by Greg Fessler, this Strat celebrates 30 years since the release of Primal Scream's highly successful album "Screamadelica". For many, this hugely impactful record represents a specific time in life; transporting them back to when the band first fused together their indie/rock style with influences of acid house to produce a new and exciting sound.
The guitar itself has been superbly crafted from top to bottom and features the now iconic artwork which has been handpainted by Pamelina. It doesn't just look good though! With Handwound Fat 60s pickups and a number of other vintage-inspired features, this is an excellent Strat in its own right. Exclusive to guitarguitar, this is sure to be a real collector's item.
Whether fuelled by a deep nostalgia or celebrating the impact that Primal Scream has made, this is a wonderful guitar that does justice to both the excellent quality of Fender Custom Shop and the original style of the band.
Pamelina is nothing short of Fender royalty. She has painted guitars for the likes of Motley Crue, Mick Fleetwood, and Soundgarden, and is even the lady behind the Fender Custom Shop logo! Using her many years of accumulated skill and talent, she handpainted this guitar with great care, making sure that every tiny detail of the original Paul Cannell artwork was included. Even colour matched paint was used to make sure that it looks the very best it can!
Greg Fessler joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1990, and rose through the ranks to become a personal builder to Robben Ford, while also producing one-off instruments for the likes of Jeff Healey, Hank Marvin, and Rhonda Smith among a host of others. Greg's meticulous attention to detail is exemplified in every instrument he creates, and this Screamadelica Stratocaster is no exception.
