The latest signature model of Fujifabric's vocalist and lead guitarist, Souichiro Yamauchi.
Yamauchi, who loves both his Fiesta Red Stratocaster and Telecaster, envisioned this model to embody the best of both worlds.
The ash body, finished in satin white, features a cutaway structure leaving the center intact and hollowing out the sides—a unique design. The CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker is mounted on the original aluminum machined escutcheon, producing rich and warm tones.
Additionally, in Yamauchi's quest for a more powerful tone, the bridge position adopts the specifications of his beloved '54 Telecaster, housing the Custom Wired Vintage Style Single Coil Tele. Notably, emphasizing the importance of the Telecaster's bridge structure in transmitting string vibrations more directly, the bridge from the Telecaster is boldly attached as is to the Stratocaster.
The neck shape, derived from the cherished '54 Telecaster, offers a comfortable grip with thickness while narrowing the nut width.
Furthermore, this guitar features a direct switch for the neck pickup, allowing an immediate switch from rhythm to lead guitar.
The "Limited Souichiro Yamauchi Stratocaster Custom" is finished with lacquer just like the actual instrument used by Yamauchi.
