FENDER SAYS
This stunning, classic recreation recalls a year when rock & roll was still being born, and rock guitarists were discovering the exciting sound of Fender’s latest triumph. Here was the first guitar with three pickups and a tremolo of superior design as standard equipment.
The Stratocaster's bright, penetrating tone was the ideal vehicle for the new music, and the guitar quickly became the preferred choice of early rock legends. In over 25 years, its dominance has never faltered, and it remains the world's best selling guitar today.
Identifying features of the ’57 Stratocaster included old-style 3-color Sunburst finish, a single layer white pick guard, and the yellowed lacquer Maple neck.

Date on the neck 7 (or 9)-23-83, pots date week 48 of year 1982, serial number V011420. Light worn logo decal, because it was applied, as the original, on the nitro finish.
