The Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster guitar is the first true acoustic Strat! Its hollowed-out alder body is topped by a patent-pending, brace-less graphite composite top with a directional wood grain-like pattern that reacts and sounds like spruce.
Three internal graphite rods placed horizontally across the body make for sturdy construction. The bridge has built-in controls (to free up the top for full acoustic potential) that use a three-piece saddle arrangement for correct intonation, with individual piezo pickups under each saddle. Three separate pickups deliver unbelievable acoustic tone—especially through any of the Acoustasonic amplifiers. The specially positioned and shaped dual sound holes deliver exceptional natural acoustic tone and surprising volume when played without amplification. All together with a 22-fret bolt-on Fender electric guitar neck, you’ve got one of the easiest-playing and most comfortable acoustic guitars made.
